Responsibilities:
- Operate CNC machinery to manufacture parts according to precise specifications and quality standards.
- Monitor machine operations continuously to detect malfunctions or deviations and make necessary adjustments.
- Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of CNC equipment to ensure optimal functionality and longevity.
- Inspect finished products using measuring instruments to verify conformance to specifications and document results.
- Collaborate with supervisors and engineers to resolve production issues and improve machining processes.
- Maintain accurate production records and adhere to safety protocols and company policies.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 1-3 years of experience of experience operating CNC machines in a manufacturing environment or the equivalent in CNC certification and training.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
- Familiarity with measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certification in CNC operation or machining technology.
- Experience with CAD/CAM software for programming CNC machines.
- Knowledge of durable goods manufacturing processes and quality control standards.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
- Previous experience working in a team-oriented manufacturing environment.
