As a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), you will:
- Provide compassionate, high-quality nursing care to residents in a skilled nursing and rehabilitation setting
- Administer medications, treatments, and physician-ordered interventions within your scope of practice
- Monitor resident conditions and promptly report changes to the Registered Nurse (RN) or physician
- Perform nursing assessments and assist with developing and updating individualized care plans
- Accurately document resident care in the electronic medical record (EMR)
- Collaborate with Registered Nurses (RNs), Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs), physicians, and the interdisciplinary healthcare team
- Supervise and support Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs)
- Promote resident comfort, dignity, safety, and quality of life
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and facility policies and regulations
- Participate in infection prevention and quality improvement initiatives
- Assist with admissions, transfers, and discharges as needed
- Graduate of an accredited Practical Nursing program
- Current, active Missouri Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in good standing
- Current BLS/CPR Certification (or ability to obtain)
- Previous experience in skilled nursing, long-term care, rehabilitation, post-acute care, assisted living, or hospital nursing is preferred but not required
- Strong clinical, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of an interdisciplinary healthcare team
- Passion for providing exceptional, resident-centered care
