Join our dynamic orthopedic clinic in Marietta, GA, as a Patient Access Representative and be a vital part of delivering exceptional patient care. We are seeking a dedicated professional to manage patient interactions efficiently in a busy office environment, ensuring smooth operations and a positive experience for all visitors.

Key Responsibilities

  • Greet and check-in patients promptly and professionally upon arrival
  • Verify patient insurance information and collect necessary documentation
  • Schedule appointments and manage patient flow to optimize clinic efficiency
  • Collect co-pays and process payments accurately
  • Update and maintain patient records in the electronic health record (EHR) system
  • Answer phone calls, respond to patient inquiries, and provide excellent customer service
  • Coordinate with clinical staff to ensure timely patient care and communication
  • Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, faxing, and data entry as needed

Skills And Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional healthcare or administrative training preferred
  • Minimum 6 months previous experience in a medical office or patient access office setting performing check-in functions
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency with electronic health records (EHR) systems and basic computer skills
  • Professional appearance and positive attitude
