Coordinating with drivers, carriers, and clients to provide updates, resolve delays, and maintain clear communication throughout transit
Planning routes to maximize efficiency, reduce fuel costs, and meet delivery timelines
Monitoring load status via GPS and dispatch software (TMS), addressing exceptions proactively
Handling freight documentation, including Bills of Lading (BOLs), proof of delivery, and compliance paperwork
Maintaining driver schedules, hours of service (HOS), and ensuring DOT regulations are followed
Collaborating with warehouse and customer service teams to ensure smooth handoff of goods
Assisting with carrier selection, rate negotiation, and cost control measures
