About the Opportunity
Heirloom Restaurant is seeking an experienced, energetic, and service-driven Restaurant Supervisor to help lead our front-of-house operations. This is a hands-on leadership position for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, upscale dining environment and enjoys developing people, delivering exceptional guest experiences, and leading by example.
As Restaurant Supervisor, you will oversee the daily operation of both the restaurant and bar while ensuring every guest receives outstanding service. Working alongside our culinary and leadership teams, you'll help create memorable dining experiences while building a culture of teamwork, accountability, and hospitality.
What You'll Do
Lead Daily Operations
- Supervise daily restaurant and bar operations to ensure exceptional service and guest satisfaction.
- Oversee opening and closing procedures.
- Coordinate staff assignments, breaks, and shift coverage.
- Monitor food and beverage quality, presentation, and service standards.
- Ensure smooth communication between the front and back of the house.
Develop and Support the Team
- Lead, coach, and mentor servers, bartenders, hosts, and support staff.
- Conduct engaging pre-shift meetings to communicate daily goals, specials, and service expectations.
- Assist with interviewing, onboarding, and training new team members.
- Provide ongoing coaching and performance feedback.
- Foster a positive, professional, and team-oriented culture.
Deliver Exceptional Guest Experiences
- Lead by example in providing warm, attentive hospitality.
- Resolve guest concerns quickly and professionally.
- Build relationships with guests to create memorable dining experiences.
- Monitor guest feedback and identify opportunities to elevate service.
Support Financial Performance
- Help manage labor costs while maintaining exceptional service.
- Oversee cash handling procedures and daily POS reconciliation.
- Assist with inventory management, ordering, and product rotation.
- Support initiatives that improve operational efficiency and profitability.
Maintain Compliance & Safety
- Ensure compliance with all health, sanitation, and safety standards.
- Enforce responsible alcohol service practices.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming restaurant environment.
- Ensure all company and brand standards are consistently met.
What We're Looking For
We're looking for someone who is passionate about hospitality and enjoys leading others to success.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2–3 years of restaurant leadership or supervisory experience in a full-service restaurant and/or bar.
- Strong leadership, coaching, and communication skills.
- Ability to motivate, inspire, and develop diverse teams.
- Excellent problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities.
- Experience with restaurant POS systems, scheduling, and inventory management.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- ServSafe Food Manager and Alcohol Service Certification preferred (or ability to obtain).
Physical Requirements
- Stand and walk for extended periods throughout the shift.
- Lift and carry up to 30 pounds.
- Bend, reach, stoop, and move throughout the restaurant as needed.
- Work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
