Opportunity:
The firm is seeking an Analyst to join their Dallas investment team. The Analyst will primarily focus on underwriting and credit analysis and work closely with small deal teams, typically with one or two senior team members. This is a hands-on role providing exposure to a wide range of middle-market investment opportunities across sectors and geographies.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct credit underwriting and initial analysis of new investment opportunities
- Assist with due diligence and execution of transactions
- Build, review, and maintain financial models and investment analyses
- Support portfolio monitoring and performance assessment
- Collaborate on small deal teams with senior investment professionals
- Manage multiple assignments and contribute as a team player in a fast-paced environment
Qualifications:
- 1–2 years of relevant experience in investment banking, direct lending/private credit, consulting
- Bachelor’s degree with strong academic performance
- Strong quantitative, analytical, and financial modeling skills
- Understanding of middle-market lending and capital structures
- Strong problem-solving ability and attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work in small teams and interact with senior leadership and external stakeholders
- Comfortable managing multiple projects simultaneously
