Pinnacle has been engaged to help a growing organization hire an Accounting Manager for their team near Solon, Ohio.

This role will have two direct reports and report directly to the Corporate Controller.

Key Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including general ledger, journal entries, and account reconciliations.
- Own and lead the month-end and year-end close processes to ensure timely and accurate reporting.
- Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Establish, document, and improve accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls.
- Partner with leadership to support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.
- Analyze financial results and provide insights into variances, trends, and business performance.
- Assist with ERP/system optimization and process automation initiatives.
- Coordinate and support external audits, including preparation of schedules and responding to auditor requests.
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and all relevant regulatory requirements.
- Support cash management, working capital analysis, and treasury-related activities.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with operations and leadership to improve financial visibility and decision-making.
- Assist with ad hoc reporting and special projects as the business continues to scale.
Who You Are:
- 5 years of accounting experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
- Experience with NetSuite is a plus.
- Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting.
- Ability to operate in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Compensation:
- $80,000 to $110,000 base salary, depending on candidate experience
