Duties
- Prepare and bake fresh bagels overnight, ensuring consistent quality and presentation
- Mix dough, shape bagels, and monitor baking times with precision and care
- Decorate bagels with toppings or fillings as needed, utilizing cake decorating skills when applicable
- Package finished products efficiently for retail display or delivery, maintaining food safety standards
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the baking area, adhering to food handling and safety protocols
- Assist with other food production tasks such as pastry preparation or catering orders when required
- Conduct routine quality checks and document production processes to ensure standards are met
Experience
- Previous experience in baking, pastry arts, or food production is highly preferred
- Familiarity with food handling, safety procedures, and kitchen sanitation practices
- Hands-on experience with cake decorating, packaging, and culinary techniques is a plus
