What are the responsibilities and job description for the Housekeeping Houseperson/Aide position at Pink Shell Beach Resort & Marina?
Assists housekeeping staff with necessary supplies for quality guest satisfaction per BMC standards.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Ensures all areas of the resort are clean and free of debris
- Removes trash from the landings and linens
- Deposits collected trash into dumpster
- Completes daily, weekly and monthly checklists
- Removes soiled linen and delivers to laundry
- Stocks amenities and cleanings supplies in the linen closets
- Delivers items as requested by guests
- Completes request from housekeepers and inspectors
- Reports any safety issues timely
- Organizes closets on daily basis
- Ensures daily communication by utilizing provided radios
- Performs all other duties as assigned

Experience and Requirements:
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- 1-2 years housekeeping experience preferred
Physical Demands:
To perform the essential job functions in this position it may require rigorous activity; grasping, writing, pushing, pulling, standing for long periods, walking, bending, stretching, repetitive motions, hearing, visual acuity, and may on occasion have to lift and carry up to 30/40 pounds. Must be able to walk up and down stairs while carrying heavy items.
Work Environment:
While performing the duties of this Job, the individual is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts. The noise level in the work environment is usually low to moderate. The individual frequently works in both and indoor and outdoor climate. This individual is frequently exposed to chemicals.
