Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of apartments, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping floors, and surface sanitation to ensure a spotless living space
- Implement cleaning and sanitation procedures using appropriate detergents and equipment to maintain hygiene standards
- Handle laundry duties such as washing, drying, folding, and organizing residents’ linens and clothing
- Clean carpets and upholstery using specialized equipment to enhance the overall appearance of apartments
- Manage outdoor work tasks including balcony or patio cleaning and trash removal to uphold exterior cleanliness
- Assist with light housekeeping duties such as organizing common areas and restocking supplies as needed
- Communicate effectively with residents regarding cleaning schedules or special requests to ensure customer satisfaction
Requirements
- Proven experience in residential or commercial cleaning, janitorial work, or housekeeping management is preferred
- Knowledge of cleaning surfaces, floor care techniques, and proper use of cleaning detergents and equipment
- Ability to perform manual handling tasks including heavy lifting safely and efficiently
- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks and complete assignments promptly
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly with residents and team members
- Outdoor work experience is a plus for tasks involving exterior apartment areas
- Physical stamina to stand, walk, bend, lift heavy items, and perform repetitive cleaning motions throughout shifts
- Hotel experience PLUS
- Experience with making beds
Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
