Overview
- Seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Boat Cleaner to perform interior and exterior cleaning, basic detailing, and overall work around shop.
Key Responsibilities
- Wash, wax, and polish hulls, decks, and metal fittings
- Clean cabins, heads, upholstery, carpets, windows, and galley areas
- Remove mildew, stains, and salt build-up; apply protective treatments
- Vacuum, sweep, and mop interior surfaces; empty trash
- Inspect for minor damage or safety issues and report to supervisor
- Maintain cleaning supplies and equipment; follow safety and environmental guidelines for wash-water disposal
- Buff & Wax
- Occasionally assist with launching, hauling, and basic boat moves as needed
Qualifications
- Previous boat cleaning, detailing, or janitorial experience preferred but willing to train
- Comfortable working outdoors, on docks, and in variable weather conditions
- Ability to lift 40 lbs, stand for long periods, and work from ladders/boats safely
- Attention to detail, good time management, and reliability
- Valid driver’s license; boating experience or certification a plus
- Background check and drug screening may be required
