Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of residential or commercial spaces, including dusting, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and sanitizing surfaces to meet high standards of cleanliness.
- Handle specialized cleaning tasks such as carpet cleaning, floor care, and upholstery maintenance to preserve the longevity and appearance of flooring and furnishings.
- Maintain sanitation protocols by properly disposing of waste, disinfecting bathrooms and kitchens, and ensuring all areas meet health standards.
- Assist with laundry services including washing, folding, and organizing linens or clothing items as needed.
- Support hospitality environments by providing housekeeping management services that include room preparation, replenishing supplies, and ensuring guest satisfaction.
- Use janitorial equipment safely and effectively while adhering to safety guidelines for chemical handling and equipment operation.
- Provide excellent customer service by responding promptly to client requests or concerns with professionalism and a positive attitude.
Experience
- Prior custodial or janitorial experience in residential, commercial, or hospitality settings is highly preferred.
- Familiarity with floor care techniques such as stripping, waxing, polishing, and carpet cleaning is advantageous.
- Knowledge of sanitation standards and procedures for maintaining hygiene in various environments is essential.
- Previous roles involving laundry services or housekeeper responsibilities demonstrate reliability and attention to detail.
