Responsibilities
- Operate hand tools and power tools to perform lawn care, mowing, edging, trimming, and general landscape maintenance.
- Use equipment such as excavators and other machinery to assist with hardscape installation, excavation, or site preparation.
- Maintain and repair irrigation systems to ensure proper watering and plant health.
- Perform tree care including trimming, pruning, and removal to promote safety and growth.
- Assist with snow plowing and removal during winter months to keep pathways clear and safe.
- Support gardening activities such as planting, mulching, fertilizing, and soil preparation.
- Conduct routine inspections of landscapes for maintenance needs and report any issues requiring further attention.
Requirements
- Prior experience or familiarity with landscaping, lawn care, or horticulture is preferred but not required; a willingness to learn is essential.
- Mechanical knowledge or experience operating landscaping equipment such as mowers, trimmers, blowers, or excavators is highly valued.
