- Manage procurement for construction, supplies, and professional services
- Prepare bids, RFPs, and purchase orders in compliance with HUD and regulatory standards
- Evaluate vendors, negotiate pricing, and secure the best value
- Coordinate bid openings, analyze proposals, and recommend awards
- Build and expand a strong, diverse vendor network
- Maintain procurement records, contracts, and purchasing systems
- Collaborate with departments to plan and meet purchasing needs
What we’re looking for:
- Experience in procurement, purchasing, or contracting (government experience a plus)
- Knowledge of competitive bidding processes and procurement regulations
- Strong negotiation, organization, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
- A proactive mindset with a focus on efficiency and improvement
