At the Pinellas County Housing Authority, our Property Receptionist is often the very first person residents and visitors interact with—and that makes this role incredibly important.
We’re looking for a friendly, organized, and customer-focused individual who can manage front-desk operations, assist walk-in residents, and keep things running smoothly behind the scenes. If you’re the type of person who enjoys helping others, staying organized, and juggling a variety of tasks with professionalism and patience, this could be a great fit.
What You’ll Do
Front Desk & Customer Service
- Greet residents, clients, and visitors with professionalism and courtesy
- Answer, screen, and direct phone calls and inquiries
- Assist walk-in clients and provide information about Authority policies and procedures
Clerical & Administrative Support
- Prepare documents, correspondence, and reports
- Maintain files, records, spreadsheets, and program data
- Create and duplicate departmental forms
- Process mail, copies, and inventory of Authority materials
Daily Operations Support
- Enter work orders into the system
- Submit required reports to supervisors
- Assist with special projects and general office needs
You’ll be the calm, capable presence that keeps communication flowing and residents feeling supported.
Qualifications:
What We’re Looking For
Required
- High school diploma or GED
- At least one year of general clerical experience
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent customer service and organizational skills
Helpful Skills
- Comfort using computers, word processing, spreadsheets, and office equipment
- Ability to manage a busy front desk with professionalism
- A friendly demeanor—even on busy days
