- Chemical Dependency Professionals SUDP** are responsible for facilitating problem solving & educational groups and individual session, and Morning Gathering. Additionally, the Chemical Dependency Professional must possess skill in crisis interventions and patient motivational skills to engage, as well as patient discharge confrontations when necessary.
- Provides role-modeling behavior
- Responsible for intakes, assessments, treatment plan development, file reviews, progress notes, aftercare plans and discharge summaries.
- Responsible for facilitating problem solving & educational groups and individual session, and Morning Gathering
- Must engage in crisis interventions and patient motivational skills, as well as patient discharge confrontations when necessary
- Responsible for timely and proficient case management and documentation to include ensuring all necessary paperwork is sent in a timely manner for admission and discharge.
Qualifications
- **Must hold a current SUDP Chemical Dependency Professional Certification**
- **Must have a minimum, two (2) years of experience working in a chemical dependency treatment setting.**
- Knowledge of patient placement criteria (ASAM PPC II)
- Must be free from the abuse or misuse of alcohol and/or drugs for a period of no less than two (2) years
