SUMMARY
The Interim Children's Ministry Coordinator, Madison Campus, is responsible for assisting the Madison Campus staff in coordinating servant leaders, ensuring weekend ministry is schedule is staffed, and engaging children and families within the children’s ministry. This role supports the Madison Campus by providing care and stability during a time of transition supporting the day-to-day functions, ensuring a safe, engaging, and Christ-centered environment for children, families, and servant leaders. The Interim Children's Ministry Coordinator helps uphold Pinelake’s vision of seeing Mississippi changed one Life Change Story at a time.
GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES
- Works in coordination with the overall goals and objectives of Pinelake Church.
- Assists the Madison Campus staff to work toward excellence in all areas of the ministry.
- Assist other staff members, when needed, to support teamwork and contribute to the successful completion of their objectives and strategies.

- Maintain a vital and growing personal walk with the Lord through committed Bible study, prayer, meditation and practicing L3.
- Maintain proper priorities in your home including your spouse and children (if married and/or with children).
- Faithfully support the ministries of Pinelake by maintaining wise stewardship measures over the resources entrusted to you.
- Maintain active participation in community.
- Reflect a growing awareness and practice of personal Emotionally Healthy Spirituality.
- Perform duties and responsibilities in a manner to glorify Christ and further the mission and ministry purposes of Pinelake Church (Colossians 3:23-24).

SPECIFIC LIST OF DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assists in the coordination of Pinelake Children's Ministry (1st -4th) functions.
- Builds and maintains strong relationships with the Madison Campus servant leader team.
- Ensures weekly servant leader schedule is complete and ready for the weekend services.
- Recruits and onboards servant leaders as small group coaches, small group teachers, hospitality leaders, large group leaders, and special events teams.
- Ensures Pinelake’s Our House Promise (OHP) policy is implemented in all ministry areas, and that all servant leaders have met OHP requirements and training.
- Follows up with kids and families (First Time Guest, Baptism Requests, Missing families, Etc.).
- Performs other duties as assigned to meet the needs of the ministry.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
May coordinate work with servant leaders.
QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
Bachelor’s degree (or in pursuit of) and one to two years of ministry-related experience and/or training including but not limited to servant leadership.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Write simple correspondence. Effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to servants, congregation members, and other employees of the organization. Excellent interpersonal skills, ability to work with a diverse group of people, communicate clearly and effectively on the telephone, e-mail and in person, demonstrating tact and diplomacy.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
The individual must be able to apply basic mathematical concepts and operations to such tasks as accounting, budget management, and financial expense.
REASONING ABILITY
Apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations. Must have the ability to respond effectively to the most sensitive inquiries.
