Position Summary:The Accounting Associate will play a key role in maintaining accurate financial records, processing transactions, and supporting the accounting team with day-to-day activities. This position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions
- Reconcile bank statements and internal records
- Assist with daily cash reporting and deposits
- Maintain accurate financial documentation and filing systems
- Support month-end and year-end closing processes
- Assist with audits and financial reviews as needed
- Communicate with internal departments and external partners regarding financial matters
- Perform general administrative duties related to accounting
Qualifications:
- 1–3 years of accounting or bookkeeping experience preferred
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, QuickBooks, and/or NetSuite, an accounting software, is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Professionalism in a corporate setting
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
