The Logistics, Order Processing & Data Entry Specialist is responsible for ensuring smooth, accurate, and timely movement of orders from entry to delivery. This role supports daily logistics operations, maintains precise data records, coordinates with internal teams and external partners, and ensures customers receive their products efficiently and accurately. The ideal candidate is detail‑oriented, organized, and comfortable working in a fast‑paced environment with shifting priorities.
- Process customer orders accurately, including order entry, updates, and verification of product availability
- Coordinate logistics activities such as scheduling shipments, preparing documentation, and communicating with carriers
- Maintain accurate data across ERP, CRM, and inventory management systems
- Monitor order status from placement through delivery and proactively resolve delays or discrepancies
- Communicate with customers, vendors, and internal departments to ensure timely fulfillment
- Prepare shipping labels, packing lists, and required logistics paperwork
- Track inbound and outbound shipments and update records in real time
- Support order forecasting by reviewing sales trends and inventory levels
- Support inventory control through cycle counts, adjustments, and reconciliation
- Review data for errors, inconsistencies, or missing information and correct as needed
- Generate daily, weekly, and monthly reports related to orders, shipments, and inventory
- Assist with returns, replacements, and claims for damaged or missing goods
- Maintain organized digital and physical records for compliance and audit readiness
Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree preferred
1–3 years of experience in logistics, order processing, or data entry
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data‑entry systems
Experience with ERP or inventory management software (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, QuickBooks)
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
Strong communication and problem‑solving skills
Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast‑paced environment
