Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve food and beverages to customers
- Operate cash registers and handle cash transactions accurately
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the concession area
- Assist with inventory management and restocking supplies
- Provide excellent customer service, including answering questions and resolving customer concerns
- Upsell additional food and beverage items to increase sales
- Follow all food safety protocols and guidelines
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operation of the concession stand
Skills:
- Bussing: Ability to clear tables and clean up after customers
- Sanitation: Knowledge of proper cleaning and sanitizing procedures in a food service setting
- Time Management: Ability to prioritize tasks and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Cash Handling: Experience handling cash transactions and operating cash registers
- Food Industry: Familiarity with food service operations and industry standards
- Food Handling: Knowledge of safe food handling practices, including proper storage, preparation, and serving techniques
- Culinary: Basic understanding of culinary principles and techniques
- Restaurant: Previous experience working in a restaurant or food service establishment is a plus
- Upselling: Ability to suggest additional food or beverage items to customers to increase sales
- Aloha POS: Familiarity with using the Aloha Point of Sale (POS) system is preferred
