What are the responsibilities and job description for the Barista position at Pine Scone Cafe?
Pine Scone Cafe is looking for motivated candidates that excel at providing excellent customer service and learning new skills. Previous Barista experience or training is highly preferred but not required.
The starting pay range for this position is $8.50–$11/hr based on relevant experience. In addition to hourly pay, the employee earns tips at an average rate of an additional $4–$5/hr on average.

Responsibilities:
- Operate cash register accurately and provide exceptional customer service
- Operate Espresso Machine and coffee grinders to make high-quality, consistent beverages
- Assemble and cook food items
- Adhere to food safety guidelines and procedures to ensure a safe environment for both customers and staff
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the cafe and retail displays
- Communicate effectively with customers to ensure satisfaction and handle issues promptly
Physical Requirements:
- Stand for extended periods of time
- Operate Machinery including Espresso Machines and Ovens
- Be able to bend, lift, stand, reach, move quickly in a confined space
Pay: $8.50 - $11.00 per hour Tips
