Job Summary
We are looking for a bilingual Barista (English/Spanish) who can prepare drinks, assist customers, and help bridge communication between team members and customers when needed.
This role is essential to keeping our operations smooth, fast, and friendly.
Responsibilities
Prepare coffee and specialty drinks (lattes, iced drinks, matcha, etc.)
Take orders and process payments using POS system
Communicate clearly with both English- and Spanish-speaking customers
Assist in translating between staff and customers when needed
Maintain a clean and organized workstation
Restock supplies and assist with pastry display
Provide fast, friendly, and professional service
Work efficiently during busy hours
Requirements
Fluent in BOTH English and Spanish (required)
Proven experience as a barista with knowledge of coffee preparation techniques.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Strong customer service skills
Reliable and punctual
Team player with a positive attitude
Someone who can move with urgency during rush hours
Strong communication skills in both languages
Clean, organized, and dependable
Comfortable multitasking (drinks customers register)
Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks, teas, and specialty beverages with precision and care.
- Handle cash transactions, give correct change, and manage cash register operations with integrity.
- Provide exceptional customer service by greeting guests warmly, answering questions, and ensuring satisfaction.
- Maintain cleanliness and food safety standards in the café area, including food preparation and handling procedures.
- Assist with food service tasks such as assembling food items or snacks when needed.
- Excellent time management skills to to ensure smooth service flow and minimal wait times.
- Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and transaction accuracy.

Pay: $13.00 - $14.00 per hour
