About this opportunity:
- Location: Pine Royale 54002 Deerfield Country Club Rd, Callahan, FL 32011
- Compensation: Starting at $50,000-55,000 annually
- Position type: Full-time Hours vary, weekends, nights
What we are looking for in a Golf Program Director:
- Experience in golf operations, programming, or guest services at a golf facility or similar entertainment venue.
- Strong staff management and scheduling experience (e.g., starters, rangers, or event staff).
- Excellent interpersonal skills with a passion for delivering high-touch customer service.
- Comfortable working with technology-driven systems and golf-related tech platforms.
- Familiarity with POS and retail transactions.
What you will do as a Golf Program Director:
- Design and execute golf programming, including leagues, clinics, tournaments, and themed events across the Par-3 course, TrackMan range, and Mini Royale.
- Partner with marketing and events teams to promote programs and drive participation.
- Oversee daily facility operations, including the golf course, range, and mini golf, to ensure an exceptional guest experience.
- Champion the use of cutting-edge technology like TrackMan and stay up to date on new trends in experiential golf.
- Monitor the pace of play and ensure the readiness of facilities, lighting, and equipment.
- Hire, train, schedule, and lead golf operations staff, including starters, rangers, and event support staff.
- Create a culture of accountability, teamwork, and service excellence.
- Serve as an on-the-ground leader, proactively engaging with guests to ensure satisfaction.
- Resolve guest concerns with empathy and a focus on hospitality.
- Assist with basic point-of-sale transactions and merchandise sales.
- Monitor inventory and support behind-the-counter operations as needed.
