This full-time on-site role, based in Meadville, PA, is for a Registered Veterinary Technician. Responsibilities include providing comprehensive animal care, assisting veterinarians during medical treatments, monitoring and managing anesthesiology, educating pet owners about proper care practices, and enhancing the overall client experience. The technician will work closely with animals, clinic staff, and pet owners to ensure the health and well-being of the animals in their care.
- Proficiency in Animal Care and Pet Care, including handling, restraining, and monitoring animals.
- Experience and knowledge of Veterinary Technology and Anesthesiology practices.
- Strong skills in Client Education with the ability to communicate effectively with pet owners about health and wellness topics.
- Ability to work as part of a team, maintain attention to detail, and stay organized in a fast-paced environment.
- Licensure as a Registered Veterinary Technician or eligibility to obtain certification in Pennsylvania.
- Familiarity with record-keeping software and basic computer skills is an advantage.
