As Sous Chef, you will work closely with the Executive Chef to oversee day-to-day kitchen operations across multiple dining outlets, support menu execution and development, and help lead a dedicated team of cooks. What You'll Do
- Support the Executive Chef in managing all culinary operations, including prep, production, service, and presentation.
- Lead, coach, and inspire a diverse kitchen team to maintain high standards of quality, professionalism, and teamwork.
- Assist with menu planning, recipe execution, and seasonal offerings tailored to member preferences.
- Oversee food safety and sanitation practices in accordance with DOH and Club standards.
- Contribute to the successful execution of banquets, golf outings, private events, and member functions.
- Manage ordering, inventory, and cost control to ensure efficient operations.
- Train and develop new and existing team members on culinary technique, safety, and Club expectations.
- Partner with front-of-house teams to ensure seamless, high-touch member service.
What We're Looking For
- Proven culinary experience in private clubs, fine dining, luxury hotels, or high-volume multi-outlet kitchens.
- Previous leadership or supervisory experience in a professional kitchen.
- Strong understanding of food preparation, production systems, and seasonal menu planning.
- Experience with banquets or catering environments preferred.
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative, team-focused leadership style.
