We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Business Office Manager to join our team at Pine Hill Rehabilitation and Wellness Center in Birmingham, AL. As a valued member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day operations of our business office, providing exceptional customer service, and supporting our mission to bring skilled nursing, therapy, and rehabilitation together with the warmth and comfort of true Southern hospitality.
Responsibilities:
Manage and maintain accurate and timely financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and financial reporting
Oversee cash handling and banking operations, ensuring compliance with financial regulations and company policies
Coordinate and process employee benefits, payroll, and HR-related tasks
Develop and implement effective office procedures and workflows to improve efficiency and productivity
Provide exceptional customer service to patients, families, and staff members
Maintain compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies
Participate in the development and implementation of departmental goals and objectives
Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless integration of services
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in business administration, accounting, or a related field preferred
1 years of experience in a business office or administrative role; experience in a healthcare setting a plus
Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and Outlook
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion
