Position Overview
We are seeking a Marketing Outreach Specialist & HR Assistant to support both HR operations and community outreach initiatives for our organization. This dual-role position offers the opportunity to blend traditional HR responsibilities with creative marketing and outreach work for what we do.
What You’ll Do
Human Resources
- Support recruitment and onboarding, including job postings, interviews, orientation, and paperwork
- Maintain compliance with HR policies, licensing, and employment laws
- Assist with employee relations, performance management, and training
- Help with audits and HR projects
- Track employee training and ensure regulatory compliance
Marketing & Outreach
- Develop and post recruitment marketing content, brochures, and job ads
- Manage social media, agency website, and branding materials
- Build community relationships through job fairs, schools, and networking events
- Create engaging content for newsletters, press releases, and outreach campaigns
- Support special events, appreciation initiatives, and public relations efforts
Qualifications

- Belief that everything P-I does should be designed to help individuals unlock, discover and develop their potential to fully participate in the world around them, including freely & equitably accessing competitive integrated employment.
- Associate’s degree in HR, Marketing, or related field preferred
- 1–2 years of HR experience, with knowledge of HR best practices
- Strong computer skills (Microsoft 365, SharePoint, databases, and social media)
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
- Positive, solutions-focused attitude and ability to maintain confidentiality
- Must pass background check, motor vehicle check, and health card requirements
