GENERAL DEFINITION OF WORK
Performs intermediate professional work in the support and assistance of agency clients with personal, social, health and economic needs, and related work as apparent or assigned. Work is performed under the limited supervision of the Social Services Supervisor.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
Ability to comprehend complex screening criteria, assess situations based on the criteria, assimilate and process information, which is not presented in a concurrent fashion, and to make recommendations for disposition of this information. Prepares various reports, summaries, findings, etc. on cases. Consults with psychiatrists, attorneys and others regarding cases.
