Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and assist them in selecting products tailored to their needs, demonstrating excellent customer service skills.
- Educate customers about product features, effects, and proper usage through engaging product demos and clear communication.
- Operate the POS (Point of Sale) system efficiently for transactions, including cash handling and credit card processing.
- Maintain accurate stock levels by merchandising products attractively, stocking shelves, and organizing displays to maximize sales.
- Upsell complementary products and promotions to enhance customer satisfaction and increase sales volume.
- Ensure compliance with all legal regulations, including verifying customer identification and maintaining confidentiality.
- Manage phone inquiries professionally, providing information about store hours, product availability, and answering customer questions with courtesy.
- Assist with inventory management by conducting stock counts and supporting merchandising initiatives to keep the store inviting.
Requirements
- MS Medical Cannabis Work Permit Required.
- Previous retail sales or customer service experience preferred; supervisory experience is a plus.
- Familiarity with POS systems, cash handling procedures, and basic retail math for accurate transactions.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to explain product details clearly and confidently.
- Experience with product demos, upselling techniques, and merchandising strategies is advantageous.
- Knowledge of grocery store operations or retail environments enhances your ability to adapt quickly.
