Applied Technology is located in the new three-story, 135K sq. ft. Advanced Manufacturing Building and the Building and Construction Technologies (BCT) programs are housed in the newly renovated Construction “C” Building at the Downtown Campus, just east of I-10 and Speedway Boulevard . Building and Construction Technologies faculty provide instruction in the study of residential and commercial building construction and systems.
About The Position
The position is available beginning the 2026-27 academic year. Faculty teach and work a set schedule over a nine-month academic year, August – May, that could include day, evening, and weekend duties. This position is expected to be able to work at various campuses, focused on the Downtown Campus. Multiple Opportunities are available.
Minimally, candidates will have experience in teaching all levels of Building Construction and related management. Building and Construction Technologies faculty provide instruction in the study of residential and commercial building construction and systems. At a minimum, candidates will have experience in teaching all levels of Building Construction and related management. Experience teaching some combination of Carpentry/Cabinetmaking, Electrical, HVAC-R, and/or Plumbing.
The position will include a fairly varied schedule that may involve afternoons, evenings, and/or weekends.

Minimum qualifications requirements for faculty positions are governed by our faculty qualification standards. This position is in an Occupational discipline and requires the following to obtain Pima Community College teaching certification:
