Welder/Fabricator

We are seeking a skilled Fabricator/Welder to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in MIG welding, and fabrication, along with proficiency in using hand tools and measuring instruments. Automotive type painting experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform welding and fabrication tasks using MIG welding techniques
• Perform welding on sheet metal thicknesses
• Work on different assignments based on need.
• Meet deadlines on assignments
• Read and interpret blueprints to fabricate metal parts
• Operate hand tools and machinery for cutting, grinding, and shaping metal
• Adhere to welding codes and standards for quality assurance
• Utilize crane and forklift equipment for material handling
  
  

Requirements

• Must have at least 5 years of experience
• Must be able to work without supervision
• Must be able to convert decimals to fractions and to read blueprints
• Skilled in using calipers, micrometers, and other measuring instruments.
• Proven experience in MIG welding and metal fabrication in all positions; flat, horizontal, vertical down and overhead
• Must have own PPE; hood, gloves, tape measure, long sleeve clothing
• Must be able to bend, crouch, kneel, and lift 40 lbs often and 80 lbs occasionally
• Proficiency in using hand tools and machinery
