## Position Overview

Are you passionate about workplace safety and ready to make a meaningful impact? As a**Field Safety Supervisor**, youll play a vital role in strengthening the companys safety culture by promoting best practices and ensuring compliance with safety regulations. Your leadership will help create a safe and efficient work environment, empowering employees to prioritize safety in every task. This role requires a strong understanding of safety and compliance regulations, as well as general knowledge of environmental and housekeeping best practices. Youll travel frequently, sometimes for extended periods, to various job sites, providing hands-on support and guidance to teams. ## What You'll Do

• Ensure and enforce that employees follow company, customer, and regulatory agency safety policies and procedures through regular site visits, communication, education, etc.
• Identify and correct deficiencies in safety practices on site with all personnel
• Teach or instruct hands-on safety classes in the shop, field, or classroom as needed
• Encourage employees to perform work safely by maintaining positive relationships
• Inspect job sites to ensure that equipment is set up, utilized, and maintained in a safe and compliant manner
• Document and report company and employee safety practices and deficiencies
• Participate in an on-call rotation for the safety and compliance report hotline and respond to calls regarding workplace incidents
• Collect data concerning incidents, accidents, near misses, and reasonable suspicion reports and relay findings to management

• Regularly walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; and reach with hands and arms
• Must be able to kneel, stoop, bend, squat, and climb a ladder
• Lift and/or move up to 50 pounds as needed
• Must be able to work at heights
• Must be able to work in confined spaces
• Works indoors and outdoors in all types of weather on-site at job sites
  
  

## What You'll Bring

• 2 years experience with Industrial or Construction safety
• Bachelors degree in Safety, Engineering, or Management, or equivalent education, training, and/or experience
• Completion or working towards instructor certifications such as OSHA 500, OSHA 510, MSHA Part 48 Trainer Card, etc.
• Valid drivers license required
• Embraces Safety as a core value
• Ability to maintain confidentiality
• Basic knowledge of DOT, OSHA, MSHA, and other safety and compliance regulations
