Purpose
To rotate loaded and unloaded trailers into dumping area/ weight incoming loads in a 30 minute window/ maintain USDA and company policies and procedures/ set up for beginning startup / bind and unbind loads
Procedures: Essential
Notify supervisor of any problems with equipment and/or processes.
Work is performed outside. This is a high paced demanding position requiring regulation’s to be meat on a strict bases while maintaining a steady flow of product to the production lines attendance is of the upmost importance
Job Requirements
Required to weigh all incoming loads prior to and during shift within the 30 min time frame set by regulations. Move loaded and unloaded trailers in and out of loading / unloading zone maintaining a steady product supply to lift drivers/ dumpers. / bind and unbind trailers during rotation process of being loaded and unloaded.

Procedures: Essential
- Each day before starting the truck visually checks the oil (By dip stick) and water
- Fill each truck with fuel and weigh prior to each start up shift.
- Perform inspection before operating truck at the beginning of each shift. Fill out inspection sheet.
- Connect (Hook up to) trailer to truck.
- Check the area for pedestrians, pull and/or take trailer to the scales to be weighed.
- After trailer has been weighed move trailer to unloading area and unbind truck (make ready for production)
- Connect (Hook up to) an empty trailer, bind cages and move trailer to designated area.
- Disconnect the empty trailer.
- Repeat any steps listed above through out the period of the day.
