Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain a secure entrance and facility perimeter
- Ensure accuracy and timely completion of all reports generated by staff
- Complete required daily and weekly reports
- Supervise, train, and evaluate staff performance; administer disciplinary action when necessary
- Communicate directly with company departments and outside service providers
- Utilize the Order Management System and Shop Floor systems
- Coordinate with Plant Shipping, Shag Service, and Traffic
- coordinate shipping dates, times, and locations
- Maintain accurate inbound and outbound truck logs
- Attend meetings as scheduled
- Report directly to the Safety Manager
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Previous security-related experience preferred but not required
- Previous supervisory experience preferred but not required
- Proficient basic computer skills
- Strong conflict resolution skills
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to multi-task
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to speak multiple languages is preferred but not required
- Self-starter with a strong team-oriented mindset
- Demonstrated leadership and people management skills
- Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
- Ability to walk, run, sit, and stand for extended periods
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent
