Product Systems Specialist

Purpose and Scope/General Summary: The Product Systems Specialist supports the creation, maintenance, and accuracy of product recipes, specifications, and data systems. This role works closely with cross-functional teams to manage product information, develop reports, improve business processes, and ensure accurate data for decision-making. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, analytical, and comfortable working with SAP and other business systems.

Responsibilities

• Create Product Recipes, and Specifications inside of SAP’s Recipe Development per requests and standards
• Maintain a Corporate database for all recipe and spec requests for all new recipes and specs, and any updates to existing products
• Develop, generate, and analyze various reports to keep our data-driven decisions accurate and efficient
• Data systems developer-create test plans and perform regression testing. Formulate and define specification for application or modify/maintain existing applications
• Data systems report writer-Create, edit, change, and publish reports drawing from data across numerous systems according to set parameters
• Understand how applications support business processes and apply this knowledge to solve defined business problems
• Maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures
• Ability to travel as required- less than 10% of time
• Creates systems that enhance data-driven decision-making across the organization.
• Develops tools that improve information accessibility, retrieval, and knowledge sharing
• Drive digital transformation initiatives through the deployment of advanced analytics, automation, and business intelligence capabilities
• Other duties as assigned
  
  

Qualifications

• Excellent computer proficiency (MS Office – Word, Excel and Outlook); SAP experience preferred
• Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude
• Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices
• Excel in interpersonal communication, building strong relationships with team members, managers, R&D staff, and others
• Demonstrate top-notch analytical and problem-solving skills
• Exceptional communication and relational skills
• Can perform the functions of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation
• As a salaried position with the company, you may be required to travel at some point to other facilities, to attend Company events, or as a representative of the Company in other situations. The applicant who fills this position will be eligible for the following compensation and benefits:

• Benefits: Vision, Medical, and Dental coverage begin after 60 days of employment;
• Paid Time Off: sick leave, vacation, and 6 company observed holidays;
• 401(k): company match begins after the first year of service and follows the company vesting schedule;
• Base salary range of $60,000 - $$66,900;
• Incentive Pay: This position is eligible to participate in the Company’s annual bonus plan, the amount of bonus varies and is subject to the standard terms and conditions of the incentive program; and

The posted salary range represents the Company’s good faith estimate of the compensation that the Company reasonably expects to pay for this role at the time of posting. Actual compensation will be determined based on factors including, but not limited to, relevant experience, skills, qualifications, tenure, internal equity, market data, and may vary accordingly.
