Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Truck Driver. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, excellent driving skills, and the ability to handle different types of trucks .
Duties
- Operate various types of trucks including, flatbeds, boom trucks, and tanker trucks.
- Load and unload cargo using appropriate equipment such as forklifts.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and records of cargo transported.
- Follow all traffic laws and regulations while driving to ensure safety on the road.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers regarding delivery schedules and any issues that may arise during transport.
- Assist in securing loads to prevent shifting during transit.
Skills
- Proficient in operating manual transmission vehicles.
- Experience with truck driving, including handling various types of trailers such as refrigerated and flatbed.
- Ability to load and unload cargo efficiently while adhering to safety protocols.
- Strong knowledge of truck maintenance procedures and the ability to perform basic repairs if necessary.
- Excellent time management skills to meet delivery deadlines.
- Strong communication skills for effective interaction with team members and clients.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $28.50 - $32.00 per hour
