General Manager – Distribution Operations (Director Level)
Lead a high-volume, multi‐shift distribution center focused on throughput, efficiency, quality, and safety. This role is ideal for a data‐driven, people‐focused operations leader who excels in fast‐ paced, technology‐enabled environments and has a strong track record of improving performance and leading teams through change.
What You'll Do
- Oversee all distribution center operations, ensuring productivity, accuracy, and safety
- Own site‐level financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, and full P&L accountability
- Build, coach, and develop high‐performing teams across multiple shifts
- Implement scalable processes and operational best practices to support growth
- Drive workforce planning, retention, and leadership development
- Partner cross‐functionally to align operational initiatives with organizational goals
- Apply Lean/Six Sigma methodologies to eliminate waste and improve quality
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards
- Oversee inventory accuracy and warehouse systems to support fulfillment excellence
What You Need
- 7 years of progressive leadership in distribution, operations, or logistics (e‐commerce or manufacturing preferred)
- 2 years of full P&L ownership
- Experience managing large hourly workforces and multiple operational departments
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to drive KPIs and business outcomes
- 4 years working with WMS, MHE, and Microsoft Office
- Lean/Six Sigma knowledge or certification preferred
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Logistics, or related field
