The Accounting Manager oversees all accounting operations, ensuring accurate financial reporting, strong internal controls, and effective team leadership across multiple locations.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and develop accounting staff responsible for financial reporting, billing, collections, payroll, and budgeting
- Manage training for new hires and identify ongoing development needs
- Oversee and execute the monthly close process for four locations
- Establish and maintain internal controls, accounting policies, and budgeting guidelines
- Direct preparation of financial statements, forecasts, and annual budgets
- Ensure financial reporting complies with GAAP and applicable standards
- Manage tax planning and preparation, including annual corporate filings
- Coordinate audits, ensure regulatory compliance, and support external auditors
- Provide financial analysis to support capital investments, pricing, and contract negotiations
- Advise leadership on financial objectives, risks, and opportunities
- Perform additional duties as assigned
Required Skills & Abilities
- Strong leadership and supervisory capabilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Exceptional organizational and time‑management skills
- Proficiency with accounting and tax software (QB Online, SAP, and ADP highly preferred)
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required
- 8 years of relevant accounting experience; at least 3 years managing small team
- CPA certification preferred
Salary : $100,000 - $110,000
