Volunteer Services is currently seeking adult and student volunteers. We currently have 3 categories of volunteers High School, at least 16 years old and a Sophomore, College and Adults, adults, primarily not in school. When applying, please indicate which category you are.

Looking for an alternate way to volunteer, help donate items to patients at PIH Health Good Samaritan Hospital (PHGSH). Help us bring smiles and comfort to our patients by donating items such as

• knitted items
• blankets
• beanies
• PILLOWS (high demand!)
• home made Cards (Congratulations/Get Well)
• books/magazines
• art supplies
• paint
• paint brushes
• sketch pads
• drawing/sketching mediums
• small jigsaw puzzles
• coloring books for adults with crayons
• activity/craft kits
• hygiene kits for the homeless
• feminine hygiene products
  
  

These donations will help supply our comfort cart and art for healing program. These are programs designed to help us bring comfort and enhance our patient experiences while in the hospital, not to mention help pass the time especially for those patients who do not have any visitors. This is a good opportunity for those volunteers who want to give back from the comfort of their home/remotely. With your kindness and donations, we're able to uphold our mission by putting Patients First and overall enhance our patient's experience.
