In this role, you'll be responsible for the upkeep and repair of equipment and systems in swine facilities, ensuring all mechanical and structural elements operate smoothly. Key Responsibilities Feed Line and Ventilation Repairs: Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair feed delivery systems and ventilation fans. Basic Carpentry: Repair or install barn partitions, doors, and other structures. Electrical and Plumbing Work: Handle basic electrical and plumbing repairs, including wiring and water lines. Welding and Metalwork: Use welding tools to fix or fabricate metal components. General Facility Maintenance: Conduct routine inspections and maintenance on barn equipment and infrastructure. Independence and Work Style This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working independently. You'll often be out on your own, traveling to different farms and tackling a variety of repair tasks without constant supervision. We trust our technicians to manage their schedules and make sound decisions on the job. Qualifications Experience in agricultural or swine facility maintenance preferred. Strong ability to work independently and manage tasks with minimal supervision. Proficiency in feed lines, ventilation, carpentry, electrical, plumbing, and welding.
