Pignones Cafe in Stoneham, MA is currently hiring for kitchen staff!!
We are seeking efficient and growth oriented individuals looking to play a role in the operations of our kitchen. We are a full service and fast paced breakfast and lunch restaurant looking to grow at a fast pace during 2026. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food preparation, ability to work in a fast paced environment, and strong communication skills. The role involves holding a high standard of cleanliness, a commitment to excellence, providing customers with a consistent and high level of quality. Prior experience in food service is preferred.
We are currently hiring at all positions within our kitchen, experience is preferred but we will train the right candidates to be successful in their roles.
Duties:
- Prepare and serve a variety of breakfast and lunch foods
- Cleaning and maintaining cleanliness of the kitchen
- Communication amongst fellow kitchen staff
- Prepare your stations for the day
- Closing down the kitchen at the end of day
- Tracking inventory and notifying management of any shortages and/or items needed
- Minimizing waste
- Communicating problems and working with the team to solve
Qualifications:
- Food safety certifications preferred
- Previous experience working in a kitchen
- Excellent time management skills
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Flexibility to work various shifts
