Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Customer Service Associate / Cashier to join our team at Piggly Wiggly in North Birmingham Alabama. In this role, you will play a crucial part in delivering exceptional service to our customers, ensuring their shopping experience is pleasant and efficient.
Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and assist them with their inquiries.
• Operate the cash register and handle cash transactions accurately.
• Maintain a clean and organized checkout area.
• Provide product information and assist with merchandise selection.
• Upsell products to enhance customer satisfaction and sales.
• Support inventory management through stocking and merchandising efforts.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth store operations.
• Address customer complaints or concerns professionally.
• Qualifications
• Proven experience in customer service or retail environment.
• Proficient in operating POS systems and handling cash.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Basic math skills for accurate transaction processing.
• Bilingual abilities are a plus but not required.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
