We are seeking a dedicated Customer Service Associate / Cashier to join our team at Piggly Wiggly in Crestline in Mountain Brook Alabama. In this role, you will play a crucial part in delivering exceptional service to our customers, ensuring their shopping experience is pleasant and efficient.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and assist them with their inquiries.
- Operate the cash register and handle cash transactions accurately.
- Maintain a clean and organized checkout area.
- Provide product information and assist with merchandise selection.
- Upsell products to enhance customer satisfaction and sales.
- Support inventory management through stocking and merchandising efforts.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth store operations.
- Address customer complaints or concerns professionally.
- Qualifications
- Proven experience in customer service or retail environment.
- Proficient in operating POS systems and handling cash.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Basic math skills for accurate transaction processing.
- Bilingual abilities are a plus but not required.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
