Job Summary
The ProAVL Operations Coordinator supports and works closely with the Sales and the ProAVL design engineering teams. The primary responsibility of this role is to ensure seamless communication and data accuracy across project life cycles. Key duties include ProAVL procurement and inventory management, updating project information in the ERP, gathering technical data and specifications for proposals, and providing support for design and research and development (R&D).

- ProAVL Procurement: Use the ERP to create purchase requisitions; issue purchase orders to vendors based on approved employee purchase requests; track receipt of items and approve invoices for purchased items; track inventory of identified items and restock goods and supplies when needed; and coordinate and place company-wide supply and internal orders.
- ProAVL Inventory Management: Receive ProAVL inventory. Maintain an organized storage area and database for ProAVL supplies and assets that reside outside of the warehouse management system. Complete physical inventories. Operate pallet jacks.
- Project Data Management: Update and maintain project information in the ERP according to established protocols. Ensure accuracy and timeliness of project records and related documentation.
- Technical Data Collection: Gather and verify technical data, specifications, and materials needed to support proposals. Collaborate with Sales and the ProAVL design engineering teams to confirm data accuracy.
- Design and R&D Coordination: Provide administrative support for design and R&D projects. Assist in the integration of technical feedback into new product or system developments.
- Communication and Collaboration: Act as a liaison between ProAVL Sales, ProAVL design, and other departments to facilitate smooth project purchasing and inventory tracking. Maintain clear and consistent communication regarding project updates and equipment timelines.
- Other duties as assigned.

- Technical Proficiency: Intermediate competency with NetSuite or other similar ERP and general computer applications including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.

- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills; able to clearly present technical information.
- Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy in managing project data and technical documents.

Supervisory Responsibilities
This position does not have any direct reports.
Required Education and Experience
The following requirements are job-related and consistent with business necessity.
- Two or more years of experience with networked AVL solutions and related protocols, e.g., Dante, AVB, etc.
- Two or more years of experience with manufacturers such as Crestron, ETC, Sennheiser, Shure, Yamaha, Nexo, Danley Sound Labs.
- Two or more years of experience in a technical support or coordination role within a technical environment.
- Any experience as indicated in the Essential Functions and Competencies.
- Experience in a service industry customer-facing role.
- Class C (passenger vehicle) driver’s license with a clean driving record.
Preferred Education and Experience
The following requirements are job-related and consistent with business necessity.
- Industry certifications, such as InfoComm CTS.
- Five or more years of experience with networked AVL solutions and related protocols, e.g., Dante, AVB, etc.
- Five or more years of experience with manufacturers such as Crestron, ETC, Sennheiser, Shure, Yamaha, Nexo, Danley Sound Labs.
- Two years of business-to-business solution sales or estimating experience.
- Two years or more of experience in the Essential Functions and Competencies.
Additional Eligibility Requirements
Upon offer of employment, the selected candidate must pass a pre-employment drug test and Federal Criminal History, Pennsylvania State Police Criminal Record, and Pennsylvania Child Abuse History Certification background checks at Pierson’s expense.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is an hourly, overtime-eligible position working a minimum of 40 hours per week. The work schedule is Monday through Friday, with hours based on project assignments, but is usually 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Some overtime is possible with management approval.
Travel
Greater than 25%. Travel is primarily throughout the U.S. East Coast. Out-of-the-area and overnight travel is required. Travel in a personal vehicle will be reimbursed at the IRS mileage rate if a company vehicle is not available.
Reports To
This position reports to the ProAVL Project Manager, ProAVL Services (interim manager, Director of ProAVL Solutions/Sales & Technology).
Physical Work Type
Medium work. Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 30 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
