Responsibilities
- Assist with landscape installation projects, including planting, sod laying, and soil preparation
- Operate hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently for tasks such as trimming, mowing, and edging
- Perform landscape maintenance duties such as pruning trees and shrubs, mulching beds, and installing irrigation systems
- Support hardscape construction activities like patio installation, stonework, and retaining wall building
- Conduct snow plowing during winter months to keep pathways clear and safe for clients and staff
- Carry out routine equipment maintenance to ensure all tools and machinery are in optimal condition
Experience
- Prior experience in landscaping, gardening, or groundskeeping is preferred but not required; training will be provided for motivated learners
- Mechanical knowledge is a plus for operating various landscaping equipment such as excavators or power tools
- Knowledge of tree care practices like trimming and pruning to promote healthy growth
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions with physical stamina and attention to safety standards
