Duties
- Assist with landscape maintenance tasks including mowing, trimming, pruning, and planting to keep outdoor spaces vibrant and healthy.
- Operate hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently for tasks such as edging, digging, and installing landscape features.
- Support the installation of hardscape elements like patios, walkways, retaining walls, and other outdoor structures.
- Maintain cleanliness of work sites by removing debris, weeds, and excess materials to uphold safety standards and aesthetic appeal.
- Collaborate with team members on tree care activities including trimming, pruning, and planting to promote healthy growth.
Qualifications
- Basic mechanical knowledge and familiarity with hand tools and power tools used in landscaping and construction.
- Prior experience or interest in lawn care, landscape maintenance, gardening or horticulture is preferred.
- Ability to operate landscaping equipment such as mowers, trimmers, blowers, tillers and other small machines.
- Strong work ethic with the ability to follow instructions accurately while working independently or as part of a team.
- Physical stamina to perform outdoor labor in various weather conditions; ability to lift heavy materials when needed.
- Willingness to learn new skills related to landscaping, tree care, snow removal, and maintenance tasks.
