Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Lawn Care Specialist to join our dynamic landscaping team. Responsibilities
- Perform lawn care duties including mowing, edging, fertilizing, aerating, and overseeding to ensure lush, healthy grass.
- Conduct landscape maintenance tasks such as pruning, trimming trees and shrubs, planting flowers, and installing mulch or soil amendments.
- Operate hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently for various landscaping projects.
- Use equipment like excavators and other construction machinery for hardscape installation or site preparation.
- Maintain irrigation systems by inspecting, repairing, and adjusting sprinklers to optimize water distribution.
- Assist with snow plowing during winter months to ensure safe access and clear pathways.
- Support tree care activities including trimming, removal, or planting to promote healthy growth and safety.
Experience
- Prior experience in lawn care, landscaping, or horticulture is preferred but not required; training will be provided for motivated candidates.
- Mechanical knowledge of power tools, hand tools, and landscaping equipment is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with landscape maintenance practices such as mowing, pruning, planting, and hardscape installation is a plus.
- Experience operating construction machinery like excavators or other heavy equipment is beneficial.
- Knowledge of gardening techniques, tree care practices, and irrigation systems will support success in this role.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions while maintaining safety standards is essential.
