Pierces Youth Network is seeking a Group Supervisor to oversee daily youth programming and supervise Youth Mentors during assigned shifts. This role serves as the on-site leader, ensuring staff follow the activity schedule, youth are properly supervised, and programs operate safely and consistently.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise Youth Mentors during assigned shifts
- Ensure daily activity schedules are followed
- Lead and manage day-to-day program operations
- Maintain a safe, structured, and positive environment
- Address youth behavior using trauma-informed approaches
- Ensure staff professionalism and proper supervision
- Complete daily logs, attendance, and incident reports
- Communicate shift updates and concerns to leadership
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- 1–2 years experience working with youth (mentorship, after-school, residential, or similar)
- Prior leadership or supervisory experience preferred
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Ability to manage groups and handle conflict calmly
- Must pass background check
