We provide full services management performing leasing, rent collection and accounting, tenant relations, maintenance coordination, and other services as needed.
Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Property Manager to oversee the daily operations of our residential and commercial properties. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a thorough understanding of property management principles. This role requires a proactive approach to tenant relations, property maintenance, and financial management to ensure the properties are well-maintained and profitable.
Duties
- Manage all aspects of property operations, including leasing, maintenance, and tenant relations.
- Conduct regular property inspections to ensure compliance with safety standards and maintenance requirements.
- Handle tenant inquiries and resolve conflicts in a professional manner.
- Utilize property management software Rent Manager for data entry, lease tracking, and customer relationship management.
- Develop and implement marketing strategies to attract new tenants on available units.
- Oversee the leasing process, including showing properties, processing applications, and preparing lease agreements.
- Maintain accurate records of property expenses, tenant communications, and maintenance requests.
- Ensure compliance with Section 8 regulations and other relevant housing laws.
- Collaborate with maintenance staff to address repair requests promptly.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in property management or a related field is preferred.
- Strong conflict management skills with the ability to handle difficult situations calmly and effectively.
- Excellent phone etiquette and interpersonal skills for effective communication with tenants and vendors.
- Familiarity with property management software is highly desirable.
- Ability to perform data entry accurately while managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Knowledge of customer relationship management principles to enhance tenant satisfaction.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving with strong organizational skills.
- High school diploma or equivalent; further education in business administration or real estate is a plus.
