Role Description - The Bryn
This is a full-time, on-site role based in State College, PA for a Community Manager. The Community Manager will oversee the daily operations of our student housing community, ensuring a positive and engaging living experience for residents. Responsibilities include managing leasing activities, coordinating community events, supervising staff, overseeing property maintenance, responding to resident inquiries, and ensuring compliance with operational policies and standards.
Qualifications
- Property Management and Leasing: Proficiency in property operations, leasing processes, tenant management, and contract administration.
- Customer Service and Communication: Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills to foster tenant relationships and address inquiries effectively.
- Leadership and Team Management: Experience in supervising staff, team coordination, and motivating individuals toward operational efficiency and resident satisfaction.
- Problem Solving and Conflict Resolution: Strong skills in identifying and addressing issues, managing conflicts, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Business Development and Financial Acumen: Familiarity with budgeting, financial reporting, and achieving property performance goals.
- Proficiency in Property Management Software: Knowledge of relevant tools and software for operations and leasing tasks.
- Experience in student housing or residential property management is preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Real Estate, Property Management, or a related field is advantageous but not required.
