What are the responsibilities and job description for the Patrol Deputy position at Pierce County?
Position and Purpose: Under the general direction of the Sheriff or their designee, performs general police work to maintain public safety through enforcement of State and County Laws. Assigned duties are performed in accordance with State Statues and department rules and regulations. Work involves general patrolling, serving processes and court orders, court work, and performing community relations work and providing various types of assistance.
Minimum Qualifications: 60 fully accredited college credits OR a 2-year Degree. Wi Law Enforcement Certification or WI Law Enforcement Basic training at the time of hire is required. Valid Driver’s License.
Starting wage is $30.60/hr, plus excellent fringe benefits. Please see attached position description.
